Bio
George Pantoulas, born in Athens in 1978, is a Creative Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator based in Greece. With extensive experience in visual arts, George has worked as an illustrator for the Greek editions of Esquire and Maxim magazines and has undertaken various freelance projects.
He specializes in digital and traditional illustration, photo manipulation, and web design. From 2008 to 2014, George also worked as a concert photographer for metal bands, capturing the dynamic essence of live performances.
George is the founder of a successful design agency that offers creative services to a range of clients, and he runs Headbangers.gr, a metal magazine. Additionally, he is the publisher of Neoigoneis.gr, a parenting website.
One of his notable projects is “Walking London,” a photography series addressing socio-political issues such as racism. His work has received several awards, including recognition from UNESCO and the EBGE Award for “Best Editorial Illustration.” His design team also won top honors at the SND and European Newspaper Awards.
George holds a 2nd DAN in Aikido, highlighting his commitment to both physical and mental discipline. His diverse skill set in art direction, graphic design, and photography makes him a versatile and impactful artist.
